Family Night Bowling

On base they have a great bowling alley!  It was only $18 for the whole family for a game and that included the shoe rental!  Grandma didn't want to play, so she just took pictures...she's great at that!!

Annapolis with Grandma Floto

Jamie's mom came to see us at the end of February for Keean's baptism.  She stayed with us for 2 weeks and ...I don't think it was long enough!  We had so much fun!  The kids were still in school so we went on a lot of day trips and got home in time for the kids to get home!  Perfect!! We went places the kids didn't really care to go to but Lynne hadn't seen or it had been a long time since she had seen these places so it worked out well.  We went to the Naval Academy, went in to the nations oldest working capital building!  And, well, I just couldn't resist posing with these statues! :)

Keean's 8th birhtday!

Keean's birthday was a little booked up this year.  We didn't even get to celebrate his birthday :)  WE had the Cub Scout blue and gold banquet, which he was very excited to participate since he was 8 that day!  I had to spend all day at the church getting ready for the young women's fundraiser dinner to be held that evening.  Keean had a birthday party to go to....not his...:)  At least it was a party and he got to go ice skating.  We made it up to him by making him a cake and telling him Grandma Floto will be coming soon and we'll wait for her to celebrate with us! :) He was happy with the day!
I love who Keean is :)  He is caring and so helpful and so excited about life and learning and excited to share it!  He is a great companion to have around who always keeps me company with his funny jokes, his energy and wanting to share all of his thoughts.  I always know how Keean feels and what he is thinking because he tells me.  He tells me all the details and ....I hope that never changes!  I love you Keean!

Our ONE snowfall :(

well, .....this was it this winter..... Kids...and mom...are missing our Utah winters!!

Christmas Morning

Jamie helps me out in the kitchen so much!  He helped cook our Christmas breakfast!  We had eggs, cinnamon rolls, bacon, juice.  The kids love breakfast.  I think it is their favorite meal.  Maybe it has something to do with eating dessert things and counting them as breakfast!  That's what makes my favorite meal breakfast!

Christmas Piano Recital

We had such a fun piano recital this past christmas.  All the kids did such a great job.  These are not all my students!  Half of them are my friend, Johnna's, students.  We had a poster contest and door prizes and awesome food....and of course......great music!!!

Thanksgiving!!

The last several years we have been spending Thanksgiving at my sister's house near Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.  We usually run a 5K, have a football game, go to Chuckie Cheese and sometimes some shopping.  This year I came in 2nd place in my age group for the turkey trot!  You can tell they didn't have too many people running if I placed 2nd!  We also stopped at Valley Forge Historic park this time.  Good times :)
