Ireland's room make-over

I could only find this picture for her room. On the other side of the room is her bed with a canopy over the head of her bed, with a cute lamp and a book case to put her baskets of accessories and stuffed animals! She loves her polka dot chair by her mirror! We got a lot of accessories at "Home Goods" which is connected with TJ Max. Every time you go into that store they have different things. I love that place!

Keean and Harrison's room make-over

Keean and Harrison wanted a beach theme too, but Aedan didn't want his room to be copied, so we were able to compromise and do a nautical theme with boats. They loved it too. We got a little table and chairs that you put on boats for their game center, some oars, a mirror that looks like a ship's wheel and some other fun accessories. They use their table a lot! Playing chess or card games before bed. It was a lot of fun! Ask the kids though....it was not fun going around with us trying to find stuff to go in the room.

Aedan's room make-over

Aedan wanted the "ocean" theme so we got soothing blues and seashells and ocean pictures. He absolutely loved it. We got him a reading chair so he can sit in his chair and read with a table by its side. We put a "fishing net" above his bed for all his stuffed animals. He also got a glowing dolphin lamp which he loves to leave on ALL night. We had to put an end to that one!

Candy...Candy....Candy

Jamie weighed the candy and the boys bags ended up being about 32 lbs of candy! yikes!

Halloween!

Here is Ireland playing the famous doughnut on a string game at school for one of the Halloween games. She was dressed like a flapper girl. She had so much fun dressing up and just couldn't decide what to be, but this outfit won out!

Keean being so scary! At the church Halloween party/trunk or treat. He was a dragon from the movie "How to Train Your Dragon" On Halloween night we went to a friend's house to eat dinner and the kids all left from there. There aren't too many neighborhoods in southern Maryland. Most of the homes are off of country roads and people drive pretty fast, so many people drive in to the "safe " neighborhoods. There was a big line up of cars coming into the subdivision. Everyone parked at the top...nobody drove....so all the kids could have the run of the streets! It was so great! It took the kids about two hours to get to all the houses so it worked out perfect. Ireland, of course, only lasted about one street and then she just stayed at the house with me to hand out cant. She didn't want to miss any of her friends! Everyone had a great Halloween.

car accident!

In the middle of October Jamie was in a terrible car accident. It wasn't his fault but someone was turning left and didn't see him going straight so ...they collided. The hit pushed Jamie toward the side of the road where there is a drop off (big ditch). Luckily there was a guard rail there and it stopped him from going into the ditch. Amazingly he walked away without any injuries, just his ribs were a little sore. Everyone was amazed that he didn't have to be hospitalized! We thought the car would be totaled, but the insurance company wanted to fix it, so they did. It took them about two and a half months to get it fixed, but they did it. We had a rental van for the whole time...2012 Chrysler town and country...leather seats, three screens for videos, stow and go seating, camera and screen for backing up...you name it...the van had it! Now I am riding my Red mini van that is 15 years old, no radio and is pretty smelly.....am i missing that rental? You bet I am! and so are the kids! :) but we are so glad to still have a dad and husband! That is for sure!

While I was gone.......

Jamie stayed busy (as usual) while I was gone. He volunteered in Keean's class, he took the kids to the Fall Carnival at school, bought Keean and Ireland new bikes (Keean can now ride without training wheels....but does he like it? ....nope :)), and the two older boys had a cup camporee that Saturday! He kept everything together AND...

Managed to have the kids help make a "Welcome Home"sign for me! I love you Jamie and are the best!
