Time OUt for Women Cinci!

For my birthday Jamie bought me tickets to go to "Time Out For Women" in Cincinnati, Ohio to hook up with all my wonderful friends in Ohio. We had so much fun. I drove there on Tuesday and hopped from house to house every night so I could make sure I could see everyone! I had soo much fun and it was so good to be with them. OH, yeah, ...the conference was good too :) I always learn so many things and it always helps give me a better perspective on things. All the speakers were wonderful. I came home rejuvenated. My neighbors told me that I was glowing when they saw me....haha!

Favorite Fair Animals

These are some of the kids favorite fair animals

Fair Day

IN Southern Maryland all the schools are off for about a day and a half because of the fair! So the day they are off for the fair, it is free admission for the kids and the rides are super cheap, so...of course we went..... The kids had some favorite rides ....and some not so favorite rides. Jamie used to love this kind of stuff when he was younger, but now, even Jamie, coming off one of the crazy carnival rides, was white and had to sit down for a few minutes! We met up with many friends from school and they had a great time. We left around lunchtime, and just as we were in the car leaving, it started to rain really hard. We left just in time!

"The Dove" first arrival in Maryland

Ireland and her preschool class were able to go see "the Dove" which was the first ship to arrive in Maryland. The kids had a great time learning about the ship and also what the pilgrims first planted. They learned a little about life on the ship. What a fun trip!

3-2-1 Blast Off!

Aedan just LOVES scouts and this week they made rockets and launched them in the church parking lot. The boys all had such a great time to see how high their rocket could go! Great job guys!

Citizen of the month

Our school has a great program called "citizen of the month" where you are nominated by your teacher if you have been a good citizen in the classroom, halls, playground etc.... Keean got his award the very first month! Harrison got his the next month.....and we are still waiting for Aedan to get it :) Not that he is not a good citizen :) He doesn't like being noticed so he is not going to do something to draw attention to himself....I guess :) They have a lll done great at school this year so there are no complaints :)

My little musicians

The boys both decided (on their own) that they wanted to do a musical instrument this year so Harrison is in orchestra and Aedan is in band. I am excited because now I can learn a little from them since I have been teaching them piano, they can teach me how to play the violin and the clarinet! I can't wait! Keean also started taking piano this year and has done a great job! Keep it up boys!
